This restaurant has been in Kingsland for many years. The parking is somewhat limited because of stalls located only around the building. We missed going here a few weeks ago because all the stalls were filled up with no alternatives to park elsewhere. Of course that's a good sign of the restaurants popularity and good food! I ordered something I've never tried before that was listed as dried beef. I have an image of dried beef from my childhood which I truly love. Unfortunately when the dish arrived I was very disappointed. I'm not sure what the so called dry beef consistency was! It looked like small chunks of hamburger meat fried up. Was this to represent dried beef? There was no taste to it either. I dumped all kinds of green and red sauce all over it to make it platible. I guess I'd try something else another time. The staff are very friendly and you are waited on quickly. The coffee is nice and strong! One thing however. They don't take credit cards! This is disappointing because we use our credit cards for perks. We usually don't patronize restaurants that don't accept credit cards. They have an ATM machine by the checkout, however, wouldn't having a credit card machine be cheaper to run than an ATM? Prices are reasonable.

First time visiting La Tequila Jalisco. Excellent food and service. Nice simple decorations, expansive menu. Great find in Kingsland.Not sure what is going on with the reviews, but on TA there are quite a few negative reviews, but at this time only 23 reviews total. Look over on Google and you will see over 300 reviews, mostly positive. I think you see less TA reviews in rural cities and more on Google.
