Whilst hard to find, this restaurant is worth finding for the location alone. Combined with great food this place should not be missed.Ceviche was really good, as was the beef carpaccio. The Tico was also tasty.My daughter opted for a pizza, whilst my son had the Tuna Steak, cooked rare. Both were outstanding.I guess itâs pricey for Costa Rica, but comparable to UK prices, but the setting was stunning.

Tucked into a (very cool mind you) construction office facing the dirt "highway" that cuts through Nosara, is ESH a simple but mouthwateringly delicious place you need to visit. The bread is like a delicious soft blanket, wrapped around either crispy-on-the-outside soft on the inside Falafel, or tangy, perfectly spiced chicken shawarma. OR BOTH. No kidding. But it's the toppings that are the real showstoppers - crispy pickles, snappy cabbage slaw and a few potent sauces: garlic/tahini, spicy homemade hot sauce, and the always authentic hummus that made Chef Dudiy famous! Taking things over-the-top, crispy french-fries are added to the INSIDE of the sandwich. Damn.A few noteworthy soft drinks like Temple of the White Dog Gingerbeer, and tart effervescent Lemonade are on tap to wash down the work of art...ESH claims to be open till dinner, but most of the time they sell out well before then. Don't be put off by its location in the little shopping mall behind the gas station. The food and service are clearly among the best, if not the best, in Nosara. Incredible grilled seafood, fantastic ceviche/guacamole appetizer and even a delicious flaming pineapple dessert. Harold is the real deal. Pricy but not for the amount and quality. Will be back!!!!

If you are looking for an amazing sunset dining experience while in Nosara head to Lagarta Lodge for drinks and dinner.Their Chirriboca restaurant overlooks Nosara beach and guarantees an amazing sunset. I am already craving their signature Chirriboca Mojito and the pork ribs.The fish was good as well but if I had to choose between and meat I would go for the latter - unless you are vegetarian.Entree: $20-35Credit cards accepted.
