If you wish to experience the Sardinian classic dishes at it's best- this is the place to go. The setting of the Agriturismo is spectacular, well worth the drive. The service is superb, the staff very friendly and welcoming. The lunch menu costs €35 per head and is actually very reasonable considering what's on offer... a welcome drink and nibbles, huge, varied and delicious antipasti spread, two pasta 'primi' dishes and two meat 'secondi' dishes, an array of desserts, wine, coffee, digestif's...the purple potato and saffron ravioli was insanely good, every other dish was well above standard. This place is food heaven.

Found this place by accident whilst travelling across the island. It's an odd town. Feels like everyone has left - so many places boarded up. Restaurant is dark and a bit old fashioned but, oh my word, the food is good. Transport the cooking to the UK and it would be the best Italian in any town.We both ordered pasta - prawn ravioli and trofeo with grilled veg. Both were phenomenal. Obviously made fresh. When we heard that they had just finished making a batch of tirimisu we ordered one to share. Legendary.A coat of paint and a few light bulbs and it should be given a Michelin star.

Travelling back from our stay in Bosa we passed through Macomer and stopped for lunch. This restaurant was sign posted from the road so we took a chance on going in not knowing what to expect. There was no one else inside so were slightly nervous about committing to eat here but we needn't have been! Fortunately for us the manager was very friendly and spoke good english and, although we were hoping for pizza, he made recommendations from the restaurant menu as pizza was unavailable on a lunchtime. The food was all freshly made and just as he described, a wonderful last meal on our holiday! The interior was very quaint too with lovely frescoes and telegraph lines. I can't believe that no one else has added a review of this lovely little restaurant!
