TIP: Get the "small guacamole" as a side order and use your salsa chips to enjoy it. It's an economical way to have a great treat that extends a very enjoyable meal. This casual restaurant is friendly and cheerful. There are both booths and tables (not a tablecloth place -- at least when I was there late afternoon). The salsa & chips were very good and the delicious entrees were served in a fancier style than I expected from the informal room setting.

Under the pergola, you have a somewhat shady area with a nice view of the hotel grounds and pool. For some reason, we had a fair number of gnats that were bothersome at lunch. Service is excellent and some unusual lunch dishes. One had watermelon pizza which is cold and refreshing. Should have a side of shrimp with it though. I had the achiote pork sandwich. May have been tastier as pulled pork. It was dry at least today. Love the terraced view the most! Beautiful grounds, good food but not great food.

My wife and I had lunch at Angela’s Mexican Food restaurant located on Oracle Road just south of W. Rudasill Road. The service was friendly, the price was reasonable and it was just good, fresh authentic Mexican food prepared and served from a Mexican food truck along the side of road. The dining atmosphere felt a lot like one of our trips to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico as we dined alfresco under a semi-permanent metal canopy that was set up next to the food truck. We will definitely return for another meal in the future!

On Fourth of July night, many of the Mexican restaurants were closed. This was open and we shared two fajita dinners for four. While not sizzling, they were terrific. The chips and salsa were very good and the the red tamale in special sauce was the best I ever had. The side of guacamole was huge.Like 4 ice cream scoops on a bed of sliced tomatoes and lettuce.Incredible flavors. I am so glad we ate here tonight. This was a bargain at under 40. With drinks.
