I love the sushi here. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. Everything is delicious! Definitely woukd recommend getting sushi here. I go ad often as I can!

We went here, as we had been to a sushi restaurant in this location a few years ago. I think the ownership changed. Many of the rolls are VERY similar to each other and the "fusion" is to add a mayonnaise-based sauce (it is Costa Rica) or avocado-based sauce on top. Well, I like to try different things, so... I will definitely stick to more traditional sushi, but the quality was typical for Costa Rica, the portions large and the price very reasonable. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people super nice and there were a lot of locals there for being so early on a Friday night.

It's the best Japanese restaurant I've ever had!!!! I tried the imperial tepanyaki and the chicken yaki soba!! We all loved it!!!!! Totally recommend it!!!!

I could not have been more disappointed. I was really hoping to finally have a decent ramen place in San Jose. The ambiance and decor is very nice, and the service was great. But that's sadly where the positives end. I ordered a Tonkotsu ramen and as a soup base I was served an oily, clearish, flavorless liquid that in no way resembled that creamy texture and rich flavor that a good Tonkotsu broth must have. The ramen also had no tare to enhance and aromayize the broth. In it's stead I was given a small bowl with pure soy sauce to add myself. The noodles were ok, but not as springy as they should have been. The tamago was slightly overcooked but had decent flavor. And the chashu was closer to a plain boring piece of pork found at any corner soda in San Jose than actual chashu.
