Ambiance was nice, but the food taste was disappointing, as I heard good reviews earlier before coming. Food was overcooked. I asked for sea food plater, everything in that was overcooked, so much so that the food tasted absolutely bad. Lobster was of low quality. I hope they improve on the food part, I might not come come again .Dear speedbird7, Thank you for your comments regarding our ambience. Stopped by every time we passed by, excellent and fresh local juices, great combinations and lovely atmosphere. Owner is super nice and helpful and there will be jam sessions every Tuesday. When passing by this cafe it was undergoing renovations and a sign posted said it will open on 15 January 2019Hello and thank you for being the first to take your time to leave a review on our page.The cafe has opened it's doors for great service past 3 weeks now.We have upgraded a service feature to serve our valued clients better and thus had to remain closed for today.We are back to service with a smile tomorrow :)CT management

Situated across the park from Serena Zanzibar Hotel, this cafe is part of the Doubletreeâs small convention center. We tried the Samaki sandwich in a wrap instead of on bread, the chicken wrap, and the avocado chocolate mousse. Each was delicious. Total price including a Kilimanjaro beer we split was ~US$20 and was paid with credit card. The only drawback was the heat. Although somewhat cooled by the trees in the park, thereâs no cooling ocean breeze and no overhead fans. So it does get warm around lunchtime.
