Bayaroma Cafe is one of Hervey Bay's best cafes. It is a charming cafe ideally located on the Hervey Bay Esplanade in beautiful Torquay opposite the best swimming spot, the popular train park for families and great new picnic spots on the foreshore. If yo
Our flight from Sydney was delayed so arrived just at the end of the lunch time. Wasn't aware that 2.30 was the cut off time for meals, after this it is a choice of 3 snacks only. Staff a bit short and quite sarcastic. The snacks were ok but probably wouldn't go back. Actually was here for a week and didn't go back. Plenty of other places to eat with great staff and serviceHi Rob, we are sorry we didnât meet your expectations. Our kitchen is open from 6am-2.30pm weekdays with the café closing at 3.30pm daily (which is standard for most cafes in Hervey Bay). After the kitchen closes, we still offer a great variety of sweet and savoury options such as frittatas, lasagne, ham and cheese croissants and also varying sweets including brownies, caramel slice, biscuits, cakes etc. We also have a great range of fresh juices and hot and cold drinks. We really pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and this is something we regularly receive great feedback on. We are sorry again that we didnât meet your expectations. Thank you, Jess.

The Black Dog Cafe is a family owed Resturant. Located on The Esplanade, Torquay in beautiful Hervey Bay. We are fully licensed and dog friendly.
The staff were friendly and the food was very good and reasonably priced but if you want to sit in the sun you have to put up with constant traffic noise, as itâs on corner. Not pleasant.
Dropped by because they advertise gluten free. I am coeliac, my wife isn't. The food here is just fantastic. Had a ham and cheese toasty just to sample the wares and was blown away. Everything is gluten free. Even my wife couldn't tell the difference. Come to Hervey Bay be sure to stop for something to eat and drink. And that reminds me, what a great smoothie. I'm definitely going to haunt the place. Well done. Definitely 5 stars and no, I'm not connected to the business.

S25°16'44.4" E152°50'22.4" Next to the WetSide Water Park on Charlton Esplanade in Pialba, Harvey Bay and in the same building as a fish & chips shop, this Italian restaurant is a serious eatery in Pialba. For ordinary tasteless American pizzas, head south 3 blocks. Otherwise, read on. Looking at the menu, this restaurant tries to get close to the real Italian cuisine, with some very interesting dishes. The wine list is impressive. You can order take-away pizzas too. In September 2018, we ordered as starters bruschetta (AU$9), calamari (AU$9), stuffed truffled mushrooms (AU$12). Although we can debate taste, texture and different flavours, these starters were fresh, well prepared and tasty. Strange to see straight calamari, not calamari rings. For the main courses, we ordered pesto chicken fettuccine (AU$20), truffle mushroom risotto (AU$22), Ricardo's Italiano pappardelle (AU$20), Danish feta gnocchi (AU$22) and blue cheese risotto (AU$22). Good risotto takes 30 minutes slow cooking and adding stock to the risotto rice. After 15 minutes, the risotto was acceptable. The combination of blue cheese and risotto was very unbalanced in taste. Sensitive risotto with loud shouting blue cheese should be avoided. Not the best combination. The fettuccine and pappardelle dishes were really good, as was the gnocchi dish. These dishes excited our taste buds. The service was quick, personal and easy-going. With this great menu, clients are satisfied customers. Fine dishes in taste, texture and flavour should not be expensive. Ricardo's makes this all too clear. Fine cooking, exciting menu options and good service offer all you need in a country of tasteless fish & chips. Highly recommended as food therapy for the homesick Italians.
