Firstly, middle and lastly, the people! Superb, warm, considerate service delivers fantastic food in an atmosphere that is both casual and fine. Lovely setting, inside or out with rotation of gallery art complimenting the architecture. Killer deserts, too!

We visited Sunday evening to this new and recently opened restaurant. The food was delicious- oysters to start, main courses of scallops and of tuna, deserts of tart tatain and iles flottant. All beautifully presented in a romantic setting. We met the head chef Matthew a French Californian who sources all the local and season ingredients. Weâll be going back for sure.

This is my seventh visit to Benidorm and also my seventh visit to The Vagabond. This time I was here with my partner Joanne and we visited Fred and Marie twice something we do not normally do but the first visit was so enjoyable we couldn't wait to next year to return. Fred is a great chef and Marie is so charming and they make a great team. The set 3 course meal is good value at 19Euros but on our second visit I went for the a la carte Entrecote Steak that just melted in the mouth. Highly Recommend this stand out restaurant but best to book in advance.

We haven't eaten here for years. Mistake!From the moment we walked in we were given charming attentive service. We chose the a la carte menu, two of us had the butter cooked sole which was delicious. The schnitzel was lovely and moist too. The main courses came with delicious vegetables and pleased to say not jut chips.Deserts were home made and delicious too.All in all a brilliant experience and we will be back!
