Our group of 7 enjoyed a delicious carvery lunch after church. Americans would call this a 'plate lunch' - where you choose a meat and then your side dishes from a serving station. It's not really a buffet because you don't serve yourself and they choose the portion size, unless you specify a half-portion. The food was very tasty, prices were reasonable and the servers were all very nice and friendly. Would recommend this!Dear NotALostWanderer,Thank you for taking the time to send us your review. I am delighted that you and your group enjoyed a carvery lunch in Racket Hall Country House Hotel. Thank you very much for all you lovely positive feedback on our food, staff and service. I hope we have the pleasure in welcoming you back in the near future.

Pasta and Pizza
My daughter and I were tired from traveling all day and the next town we found we would get dinner. So we just found an empty parking space and started walking down the street looking for something we both could agree on. We chose this little Italian place, it was nice, a little dark but we gave it a shot. The waitress was a little quiet but once we engaged her she was very helpful and pleasant. I got the Pepperoni Calzone and my daughter the pepperoni pizza. Both were served quickly and hot. We were very pleased with our meal.
