Once more we returned for a wonderful Easter set lunch. This time the best location was the private garden to the rear with a substantial patio in the sun. It was a mellow experience on this lovely day. Menu was carefully planned and executed. We felt it was a little rushed for no particular reason and we were served by four different staff. Personally I like to try and establish a relationship with the serving staff in order to enhance the experience. Although we recognised some of the staff, that was removed from us.The overall experience was wonderful and very relaxing. Bravo!Dear reviewer, thank you for the nice words with which you describe us , knowing that at our tables you have once again found quality and service honors usAs for the clarification regarding the new "in pressing" dining room staff, I would like to point out that on Easter we were operating simultaneously in three different spaces (garden and two inner rooms).The staff that is usually found at the Locanda was not enough to guarantee a good service and the neophytes still have to learn to overcome the anxiety of the service and the emotion.We apologize for this but we expect you as usual for the August in Montefalco to attend the parade of drummers at the table of the Locanda del Teatro as, if I remember correctly, you love to participate.Paolo e Pasqualino

The location is approximately half way between Montefalco town centre and Cannaiola di Trevi, on a low hill. We loved the experience here because of the elegance of the ambience, the delicious food, the excellent service and the tranquility of the alfresco area. The name of the restaurant is the Italian word for soup tureens, which Francesco, the owner, has been collecting for many years. Lots of them are on display in the villa, which by the way, has wonderful gardens with lots of roses. The dinnerware which was Deruta ceramics and the silver cutlery are refined and very pleasing. Lovely place for lunch or dinner. By the way, the prices are very appropriate to the standard.

Located in the square behind main street. We took plate of local ham and cheese for starter. It is enough for two. For main course we selected gnocchi al Sagrantinio and tortellini with truffles. Of course local wine and water. For desert cheesecake and tiramisu (don't take it, not good). Price was â¬60. Now about service - you can wait ages for them, but could appoint traditional Umbria food.Dear clients,Thank you very much for your comment. We always try to do our best, but I hope you understand we always serve our food as fresh as it can be, and that's why when there are many clients, it's reasonable to wait for 20 mins more or less, afterall we are not serving fast food :) . About the tiramisù, we do it in a light way without mascarpone so that clients can enjoy it without worrying too much the heavy fat the traditional one contains, maybe there was some communciation missed that made it a bit unclear.
