Après une bonne randonné nous avons décider de faire soirée pizza donc on commande plusieurs pizza et oh surprise quand on les ouvre arriver à l'appartement... Des pizzas avec beaucoup trop de roquette et du balsamique dessus depuis quand la roquette et le balsamique font partie de la raclette/tartiflette ??? Surtout avec des dose pareil... De taille et de forme aléatoire. Je ne recommande pas les pizza à emporter.

In late August it seemed interesting sitting outdoor by the road to the Aubisque. After sitting for a while a sour waitress took our order and we eventually were served the worse dry crepes anywhere and the tart like one was even worse with the apples, advertised as caramelized, warmed over apple slices, Coffee was plainly bad and barely warm. The price high specially given the quality of the items sold. May be in winter they are better and have more help, but summertime avoid.

We stopped here on the way to Gourette for a day's skiing. Lunchtime was a little busy but there were tables available in the small beer garden to the rear of the property which is also where the car park is.Best thing on the menu is the baked potato. Comes with a choice of toppings and is great value. Still a rarity in France is a bar which sells more than one or two types of beer. To find one in a small village is even more unusual. Their range was biased toward Belgian beers.

Should you be hiking in the Pyrenees (valleys dâaspe or dâossau) do take the time to have lunch at the auberge in Aydius. The view is superb and the food rivals any village bistro. The menu du jour at 4 courses for 13 euros (October 2018) is excellent value: good portion sizes and very tasty. On the day we went we began with garbure then had a plate of charcuterie and salad followed by excellent pork cheeks with mixed vegetables, mushrooms, potato stack, and a delicious sauce, followed by an excellent tiramisu. Our grandson had the menu dâenfant: ground beef patty with frites and salad with an option of ice cream for dessert. The dining room is bright and airy with views from every table. Youâll be too full to hike up the trails after lunch but take the time to explore the narrow village lanes with its stone houses build one above the other clinging to the steep slope. The museum de memoires is worth a visit, especially the video. You canât drive through the village but there is parking at the entrance and at the auberge.
