A small Italian bistro that seems to get very busy, even early in the week. The chef was really passionate about the food and the results were excellent. The best food we ate in Duderstadt

You can sit outside in summer, inside they have two differently styled restaurants with the same menu.First: The soups are always good ...The welcome from the kitchen very basic. Would need some more imagination.Some food like tapas they had is really good.Others like the risottos very disappointing.For the highlights I give 4 points. For the other I should give 2-3 points only. It is a pity to have a small menu - what I like - but not to be able to deliver on constant high level.Dear ALT DUDERSTADT guestThank you for your review. I would like to apologize for the bad experience with our risotto. The food and service was so good , we will go back there every time we are close. Very rural setting, but oh what food...all in season, local recepies too, very tasty, whatever we ordered,and particular can recommend the special dishes of the day,...even the salad was so good, we could have feasted on that alone. Beer is the best we ever tasted too,...it was Bitburger. We ate there several times, and when we did not find something on the menu, the chef made for us whatever we fancied as well...second to noneVery recommended,...and even good for small pockets

Wir hatten etwas gesucht um mal eine leckere Pizza zu essen. Das war gelungen.... es war nicht viel und wir saÃen alleine im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants... ich weià ehrlich gesagt nicht warum man uns da hinten hin platziert hätte... somit sind wir beim Service hin und wieder mal in Vergessenheit geraten. Es war ein lauer Abend und im AuÃenbeleuchtung waren die meisten Plätze belegt...daher waren die Gedanken wahrscheinlich eher bei den Gästen drauÃen, als bei uns drinnen...Grundsätzlich kann ich das Essen empfehlen.. Die Pizza war lecker... ich weià nicht ob es für die Region üblich ist, aber mir wurde ein Weinschorle mit einer Scheibe Zitrone serviert, das schmeckte ehrlich gruselig. Der Service war nett. Sie wirkten im ersten Moment verwundert das wir was essen wollten. Es ist eine italienisches Restaurant und gleichzeitig eine Eisdiele... die Lage ist mitten in der Innenstadt von Duderstadt. Sonst gibt es weiter nichts groà zu erwähnen.
