One of the things I disliked about this diner was how rude the manager was at night to the waitstaff openly. I very rarely go here anymore since the prices are ridiculous and the food is always inconsistent. The only time I do go is a matter of convenience. How this manager still works at this establishment brings me to the only conclusion that he must be family. I had not been their for a year and just like the year before I found myself in the diner at about 9 pm. Also, Just like the year before the manager berated the staff in such a manner, in front of patrons and all to see, that it made me very uncomfortable. The staff and the manager had an open, loud, argument about how the desert case was not cleaned properly. Then within less then a half hour later the manager began to publicly humiliating another staff member. If I really wanted to watch Jerry Springer like antics while I ate, I could do so back at home watching it on T.V. At least then I would have the choice to switch it off instead of being forced to watch it in this supposed place of business. I truly despise this place, and even in matters of convenience I will use extra will power to avoid this blemish in Lake Hopatcong. I am sure in my absence this awful human being, touted as a manager, will cause enough employee turnover that the owners will actually get a clue and let this person go. He is someone that should be in therapy, not in a management position.Thank you for bringing this to my attention. For the first time I visited the Townsquare Diner after passing this restaurant hundreds of times. It didnât disappoint. All of the Jersey classic diner fare with good service and a clean atmosphere. I had a turkey club with fries and everything was on par. My kids had pancakes and they were very good. I must note that the portions were larger than normal. Overall no complaints here and weâll be back!

Starter meal aka OMG meal. Great for a small meal, or for kids. Only $9. Four delicious wedges served with yummy Green guacamole, White sour cream, and Red salsa...placed on the plate like the Mexican flag.Excellent...tasty...mildly spiced..perfectly cooked.Chicken pieces are moist, & flour tortillas fully stuffed. I would definitely order this again!

When my daughter announced she was getting married to a wonderful man, as we helped them make planes, she said she wanted the Rox to cater the meal. Having grown up in Roxbury, she ate many meals not only with us but with her friends as they attended high schoolThe experience couldn't have been better. They took our budget and came up with a plan that covered both the omnivores and the vegetarians On the day of the wedding, the food was delivered and set up and went off without a hitch (expect we ran out of little potatoes)When the food can make or break a reception, the Rox came through and made a great day, a wonderful daySo glad you enjoyed everything!
