Friendly, clean and happy atmosphere. The food is well prepared and tasty. We had a luncheon special priced just right. Staff was friendly and helpful in assisting with choices on the menu. It was not very crowded but the noise control could have been better . Must be the acoustic in the place.

Eat at Jim's for a full size huge American breakfast or lunch. Enormous portions of inexpensive well prepared meals. And bottomless cups of American coffee.

While visiting in Alameda, I had the Poached Egg Sandwich with pepper jack cheese and bacon on soft ciabatta roll. It was very good and the service was fast. Also had coffee which was good. Only complaint was that I wanted my coffee to be heated up and they didn't have a microwave. Pricing was inexpensive. Next time I am in good I will eat here again.

This family restaurant in quaint Alameda was one of the best breakfast restaurants we have eaten at. It was very busy, but worth the short wait. They serve 2 types of breakfast potatoes that are both excellent, as well as every breakfast configuration you could wish for. They serves lunch and dinner, also, and Iâm certain those are just as delicious. My coffee cup was never empty.
