Had lunch here on drive from Avignon to Pont du Gard. Pizza was thin crust and bland. Service was quick and the bathroom was very clean. Quick service and clean bathroom brought this score up to a 3.

It took a little jigging through backstreets to find this gorgeous place but when we arrived we were greeted with a cosy, welcoming 16th century built restaurant with refreshingly genuine hosts. The food is wonderful, all locally sourced and fresh. The husband and wife team that run the place lovingly create a home cooked, simply brilliant menu. We had 5 different meals and all were amazing. Enjoy!

I visited with a colleague for lunch, returning from a visit to the Pont du Gard.This restaurant is very popular with cars parked and many people at tables.We arrived at 1:36PM and were seated. The waiter serving was very busy bringing meals to many tables so service was slow..The hamburgers being consumed on adjacent tables looked superb and were being enjoyed by other guests. But, when ordering, disaster, the hamburgers were all finished and not available.More disaster, the two chosen desserts, the Dome intense chocolate and the Entremets Capuccino could not be served either.We had a lunch of alternative entrée and OK dessert but were disappointed overall.If I am going past for an early lunch, perhaps I will try again to sample a hamburger and chocolate dessert.

It may have been a bad night but I am afraid the food was awful.Even the pichet of wine was undrinkable.We went there many times under the previous owners the food was simple but good. I hope the new owners can get their act together with the food as the ambience is very pleasant.
