This is a very nice bistrot! We enjoyed a delicious lunch with different French specialities. The salad was truly excellent! The escargots were very good as well, as was the fish and burger. As dessert we shared ice cream from Barbarac. Delicious!The service was friendly and competent. Also, very nice atmosphere. And yes, do try the pastis as apéritif!

Having had this place recommended, we were disappointed at the overall food quality. Our starters were good, (the sea bass tartare was in fact excellent) however our main courses were very mixed. Two of the party ordered steak cooked âa pointâ and one came very well done, one very rare. The frites were soggy and the house burger came with cooked tomatoes that made the bread soggy and unpleasant. Lamb cutlets were good but overall the meal was not worth the price.

After a walk at the harbour we went into the shopping area and passed Basilic Burger. We all took the menu offered, which is burger or salad plus a dessert (euro 15). Nice portions, good burgers and fries. Dessert is ice with multiple choices, Creme brûlée or tarte citron meringue. Everything was as expected however maybe slightly better :-)
