At first it seemed a little strange having to descend to the basement for our dinning experience, but once we entered it made sense with the decor. This was a restaurant we found from the Kobe Association website, where it lists all the restaurants that actually serve authentic Kobe beef. If your establishment is not on the list you are not getting the real thing. Our overall experience was good, it helped that the our teppanyaki chef spoke English (which is a rarity in Japan). All our courses were prepared very well. Really no great complaint, except ambiance could be a little better.

チェーン店の青木亭ですが、なぜか味がまばらです。こちらのお店は平均点です。定番のネギチャーシューの中を頂き豚骨の癖も少なく美味しく頂けます。近くにあったラーメンショップのドモンが無くなりこってり感は落ちますね！

土曜日のランチタイム（11:40頃）に伺いました。お店の中は満席で2名待っていました。入り口右手の券売機でチケットを購入します。（大盛も同じ金額です）メニューは大きく分けると、つけ麺、ラーメン、汁なし担々麺とトッピングです。つけ麺をオーダーしているお客が多かったです。汁なし坦々麺のオーダーしました。ぼどなくして出て来ました。担々麺の見た目はひき肉が沢山のっており山椒とピーナッツがかけておりラー油感が程よく、美味しそうです。汁なし坦々麺には小ライスがついています。定員さんは残り汁に入れると美味しいと言ってました。いただきます。麺は太麺でほぼストレートでツルツル感があります。（私的にはもう少し固めが良かったです）味は程よくクリーミーで、コクがありとても美味しいです。ライスも良い米を使っているようで、つぶつぶ感があり美味しかったです。
