Top 4 American food in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France

Reviews on American food in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. The deep blue waters of the Cote d’Azur are the dramatic backdrop for elegant Nice. Breathe in the fresh Mediterranean air as you stroll the waterfront promenade, or get an eagle eye of the whole city from atop Castle Hill. The pedestrians-only Place Rossetti is the heart of the city, with a grand fountain, vibrant buildings, and the beautiful Sainte-Réparate cathedral giving it a provincial French feel.

Having done a bit of research on Tripadvisor before visiting Nice, we decided to give King Marcel a go and we are very pleased we did.The restaurant is on the busy Cours Saleya and is in a very convenient location. Having check the menu, we both decided to go for the "Marcel Jackson" meal. It arrived quickly and was great with beef, cheese, onion, bacon and a barbecue sauce with a side of double fried chips and a drink, all for €14 each.It was so good in fact we went back on another day just to make sure, and it was just as good second time around! We would like to thank you for your nice review about King Marcel. This is great you appreciated your time at the restaurant and our burger. We do hope to have the occasion to welcome you soon. Marcel.

Fantastic little gem. Stopped in for a quick lunch before a day of adventuring. Owner is lovely, food is equally as good. And so cheap! 2 of the deluxe burgers, fries and drinks for 19 euro. Burgers were excellent, fries and sauces wonderful. Service is genuinely friendly. Ps the 2 reviews that gave 1 star both appear to be fake. Ignore those. This is 5 star considering price point for quality!

This place is simply the best BQ I have had on this side of the pond. Hands down. Everything served at the Bootgrill (and I have tried pretty much everything!) is lovingly prepared and cooked by Thierry. You can feel the passion in the food. I mean, octopus and pickled onions, scallops grilled int he shell, grilled lobster tail and potatoes, and of course, the tomahawk... The food is great, and the service and atmosphere are a solid YES! There is an air of friendly banter throughout the dining area, as good food and good humour go together like beef and beer! Speaking of beer, a great selection of local and not so local craft beer. Including my favorite, Blue Coast!

Lobster Rolls à la Française, minute maid fresh salads with lobster, fine french wine & champagne tasting.

Reviewed By MeredithAussie

Apparently, Lobster Rolls are ‘hip’.For 18 euros you’re served fresh lobster in a sweet bun (like a hot dog bun) with a choice of 5 different flavours (Original, Tarragon, Niçois, Wasabi, Grilled Cheese or Truffle). Between us, my companion and I tried Original, which was a little dry, and Niçois, which had the lobster mixed in Aioli. It was better. You can eat in (including tables and chairs outdoors) or take away. The restaurant was clean (as was the bathroom) and well-lit. Service was efficient, but not very warm. While the taste was pleasant enough, I can’t help thinking that this is a waste of lobster. Lobster should be celebrated and savoured, not stuffed into bread.Dear Meredith,Thank you very much to you and your companion for your visit at Lobsta, we hope to welcome you again soon. Even though you seem to prefer whole lobster over lobster rolls, we only read positive points about Lobsta in your review and can only think it would have deserved 1 or 2 extra stars ;) PS we also serve whole lobster for your convenience. Kind regards, Your Lobsta team.
