With one of SAâs most well known wines, we just had to visit. Lovely views and friendly staff on arrival. The collectors wine tasting was lovely and refreshing. I do however suggest the waitress selling it gets a bit more training on what they offer. The manager was lovely and sorted out a cheese platter issue the perfect way. Small attention to detail on service can be improved but all and all a great winefarm to visit.

Our Bistro is all about eating great food and enjoying a selection of our very own Signal Gun wines along with superb wines from Durbanville Wine Valley, which is sure to satisfy all tastes. Ke-monate is a Sotho word meaning 'dis lekker' or 'that's nice'.

I visit frequently, but this might be my last. Asked for a nice view when making the reservation and didn't get it. Service was very slow. Fish and chips deteriorated from my previous experience. Microscopic piece of fish (not fresh) covered by dough. All in all not totally bad, but underwhelming. Didn't ask to talk to management as I had overseas visitors with me. Dissapointed.

My wife and I had lunch. Spicy mince on bruchetta topped with a fried egg, and I had a Parma ham, grilled cheese and tomato croissant. Food was very flavoursome. Service was very efficient. The wine prices are very reasonable, and the variety of wine on sale very extensive. The big negative about the visit is the R40 corkage charged even if you buy the bottle from urban wine.
