We cannot recommend highly enough the restaurant and the accommodation, without a doubt this was one of the best meals we have ever had, the care and attention to the food, ingredients, and preparation, the explanations and suggestions for good wines the fantastic choices and amazing combinations. On top of that, you have breathtaking views. It's really worth booking accommodation so there are no worries about indulging. The perfect hosts make you feel at home and are incredibly passionate about good food. Its also the perfect base for exploring the region, close to Barolo and some beautiful little Italian towns. Don't miss coming here.

We were looking for a place to have a drink on the Piazza San Paolo. Seeing the outdoor seating we decided to have a look inside. The wine bar has a big selection of open white and red wines where you can choose to have just a taste, a glass or a bottle. Most of the wines were regional from the Dogliani area or Piedmont. We then sat outside and were surprised when the owner brought out a big platter with anti-pasti and bread to enjoy with our wine. Very tasty. A nice view of the Piazza and the church, under the stone arches before the wine bar.

We were looking for pizza, which was not on their menu. No problem. Nevertheless, the service was friendly and helpful. The beer was cold, and the kids' milk was warm. Perfect.They offer complimentary snacks to accompany the wine, cocktails and beers that they serve. We still wanted pizza. The waiter gave us directions, but my Italian is rubbish. He went a step further and gave me the wi-fi password to log onto Google Maps... We ended up at Pizza Il Faro.
