We have never been to a restaurant of this genre or caliper. The staff greets you on the way in like you’re some sort of a superstar. It is teppanyaki style food with a robust price tag, but worth every penny. This was a grand dining experience for my wife and I, as my friend who is a Tokyo local took us there because it;s his favorite restaurant in this huge city. Benehana’s can’t touch this place. The decor is elegant European, they seat you down in front of you own private chef in a classic room and the best food in the world just keeps coming at you straight off the grill. The servers are perfectly dressed, treat you like royalty and in the evening we started off with an exotic lobster appetizer, fresh grilled clam salad, awesome ribeye/New York grilled to perfection and perfectly sliced, dreamy ice cream desserts and a vast selection of cocktails and wine. If you really want to get spoiled, this is he place to go. A one of a kind, fabulous dining experience!

My Japanese friend who lives in Yokohama took me to Hungry Tiger for lunch. She told me this place was her favorite since she was little. What I like most about this place is the atmosphere. The ceiling is high that I almost feel like I'm eating in a big hall. You'll have one napkin on the table. Place it on the table before the food is served and you can use it to prevent the oil from the hot pan spill all over. They will give you a piece of cloth to cover your belongings too. That's very nice of them. I ordered a special lunch set, 1,700¥. Hamburg is served with some salad, tomato soup and drink of your choice. For me, the meat is a little too dry but the taste was just right. You can choose between rice and bread. Portion is suitable for the price.

Went there last night....again. I got the 200g sirloin, well-done, mashed potatoes, corn soup, and all-you-can-eat salad bar/ dessert / drinks (sorry, no alcohol...although you can order it separate). The salad bar is constantly being stocked, and there are about 15 kinds of cold drinks and 8 or so hot drinks. They display all their meat in a glass display case so you can see the quality, and cook it with it being displayed on screens so you can see it being cooked and see when the salad bar is being restocked. Good fun. When you leave, they give you a scratch ticket which usually gives you either a free drink / gelato bar or 200 yen off...although there are bigger prizes. Great value for the money...and you don't have to leave a tip! Enjoy!
