O Mario is a well known restaurant between Covilha and Fundao, just at the edge of Serra da Estrela. Delightful meal but really expensive, over expensive for what you get in a traditional restaurant. Service is competent and friendly, but starters above â¬10 (a plate with some slices of ham or the mushrooms is tooooooo high). When asking the house wine they brought the reserve (much more expensive), and etc... If it was not the really delightful food, this experience should be rated at terrible. Think twice before going here, and if you go, please check the prices for what they put in the table...
