We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this local restaurant. The catfish was amazing, very tasty with large portions. More food than we could eat, with the sides of fries and hush puppies. We took home some pie to eat later, since we couldn't pass it up. The service was excellent, very friendly and fast. We're glad we stopped here on our visit to nearby Shiloh Battlefield.

the 1rst time we waited. at the counter for 5 minutes! before someone came up to the counter.(a lifetime in fast food places). We left! A month later I thought I'd give it a try again (everybody has off days). 3 minutes later (I'm a glutton for punishment),We get our order in. Before turning our order in, the teen girl who took it started chating with another customer/friend about getting another job and how hard the work was at this place all within earshot of us. During all of this I noticed a young black male working his butt off in the back cooking area come up front and start working. I found out this was the night manager. After a 15 minute wait (I'm really getting into timing as these eposides occur),We finally got our food. My wife's order was wrong and she went up to complain about it. The teen girl didn't have a care in the world but the manager aplogizied and attempted his best to fix it.The three teens working there should be fired, not because of age but because of lack of maturity and not knowing the difference between play time and work. In the 70's, at 16 years old, I worked at Shoney's in Jackson and would have been fired on the spot for the first offence. this is not a (when I was your age......) lecture. This was down-right inadequate, unfit, unqualified, immature, blatant, incompetent people. there are other teens and young people out there that need that job and know how to put forth an effort. I like Long John Silver's food but I won't be going to the Savannah store again.
