Unfortunately the change of ownership hasn't meant an uptick in the business.Its still priced at a premium but this once great fish and chip shop doesnt deliver against this.The food now is quite variable in its quality (to be fair the burgers are still good) but it looks like the new owners and staff are still learning the trade. I think they need a more customer oriented person on the till than the dead eyed and harassed junior they are currently employing.Great spot and great recipes still but time to lift their game.

Have had food from here about 4 times now and it has not improved. Fish is very oily and potato cakes too thin.The only reason for stopping there was it was on way home from daughters school.

I hadn't been here for a couple of years and then it was very good.This time the grilled fish was over cooked in to much oil and the chips were hard,very disapointing
