I recently attended here for the first time for a friends party and was pleasantly surprised. I had never been before and have long seen it standing there since it used to be known as the Red Castle and later when it was known as Empire Bar. The castle used to be a bit of a dive but the Empire bar had certainly fixed that. There is lots of parking available which is surprising as its so close to the casino. It had many areas in which to drink, both inside and out. The beer garden out the back is huge as is the big screen for entertainment. The food was actually extremely good and service was impeccable. I found they also had a good range of beers both craft and lager. The front outdoor area is cool with a bar and fantastic appeal. It trained on the day we were there but it was fantastic. Although we were here on a function I would definitely recommend it to come back for a casual drink with a meal.

This pub is very busy. We went here to have drinks and food. Here are the positives & negatives:- soo noisy. You have to shout to hear others on your table - prices are a bit expensive for a pub+ the food service was very quick+ the food was good+ separate billing
