Amazing staff tasty juice beef and horse's steaks with very nice Red vine!! Was pleasure to have an dinner at this nice place into Swiss mountains.

We were on our way from Tuscany to Holland and as there was an announced two hour waiting time for the Gotthart tunnel, we decided to skip the typical petrol forecourt sandwich and to go of the highway for a proper lunch instead. We found Al Giardinetto quite quickly and as there were quite some people sitting on the terrace, it looked a safe choice. The service staff didn't look particularly cheerful or enthusiastic whilst taking our order or when serving. The food was of mediocre quality and the Gnocchi in tomato sauce of my son was actually quite bad bad (some potato balls were tasting rancid). The above combined with the (typical Swiss) high price of 95CHF for 4 simple pasta dishes and 4 softdrinks, makes that I'm not too enthusiastic about this place.

We stayed in the hotel attached. The food was outstanding as was the service. The chef is the son of the owners and knows his trade well. We ordered food not on the menu which was cooked to perfection. If you are in the area give it a try - the locals do!
