Harmonisch angebunden an das Hotel befindet sich der weithin bekannte Gasthof Eisvogel, vom Bayerischen Staatsministerium bereits mehrfach als "einer der besten Gasthöfe im Freistaat Bayern" ausgezeichnet.

Excellent restaurant to have a business meeting. They have delicious food here too. They are very attentive to your needs. We were here during the Spragel harvest. It is delicious white asparagus and they do it perfectly. We had nice steaks with potatoes. This restaurant is on a nice river and the Ice Bird nests in this area. I didn't see the bird, but I believe it is an American Kingfisher type as the image shows. Ice because it is blue. You can sit outside or in, there is plenty of room. We sat out and it was very pleasant. This is true Bavarian style including the dress, and if you are in this area I would recommend stopping here. Lots of nice choices and this is attached to a hotel if you are staying over. The beer is wundabar.

Parken direkt vor dem Haus. Biergarten und innen sehr gepflegt, leise Hintergrundmusik, gratis Zeitung zum Lesen vor Ort. Sehr vielseitige Speisekarte. Diverse Themenbereiche. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Gute Salate. Getränke relativ günstig. Ansprechende Tischaufmachung, gutes Besteck. Alles in Allem sehr gut, immer wieder gerne. Saubere Toiletten. Stilvoll bayerisch kombiniert mit modernem Flair. Essen kommt heiss auf den Tisch, schmeckt, meist volles Lokal. Reservierung sinnvoll. Danke.

Wir haben hier auf der Durchreise über die A93 einen Zwischenstopp zum Abendessen eingelegt und wurden positiv überrascht. Das Ambiente mit dem offenen Grill war gemütlich, die Bedienung freundlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr attraktiv. Die Portionen sind (typisch niederbayrisch) groÃzügig. Das Schnitzel war etwas trocken.Ausreichend Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus.Die rustikalen Toiletten könnten mal wieder eine "Aufhübschung" vertragen.
