We went to watch the local band "Caraivana" ( Brazilian chorinho). Ordered pizza. Great thin dough with fresh ingredients right out of their brick oven. The caipirinha made of "cachaça Seleta" was great. The service excellent which is very unusual for Caraiva. But you need to get in early.

So, we came across this pizzaria accidentally, we were walking towards beco da lua... and suddenly the menu and the chef just draw our attention. Simple pizzeria, wood oven, 7-8 pizzas, 3 sizes (normal, calzone and a small one) that really got our OK to go. We ordered 50% chicken (chicken,tomato, Catupiry and cheese) and 50% done by the chef, offthemenu. Dried beef, cheese, tomato and catupiry.Aftermath... I went to Italy once and this pizza HERE was unbelievable. One of the best Iâve ever had. Really light, as it is done on top of a some sort of focaccia, great combination and generous portions and an absolute incredible service. You definitely need to try it. Really.

As pizzas da região, são diferentes das pizzas de SP, elas tem a massa bem fininha, então come-se fácil mais de 2 pedaçosEscolhemos 1/2 brasileirÃssimo e 1/2 portuguesa da grande, maravilhosas. Tem pizza pequena tbém, mas essa seria ideal para 1 pessoa e mulher, pq como falei a massa é fininha, então não pesaAs pizzas não são caras, a mais cara é $ 60,00, moda do chefe.....lembrando, não são caras para o padrão CaraÃva ( onde $ 60,00 é o preço da refeição para 1 pessoa em geral)A pizzaria está localizada na praça da Igreja, com mesas ao ar livre....e como não tem luz na rua, á noite acaba sendo um jantar romântico, só com a luz da vela na mesa ( isso para todos os restaurantes com mesas ao ar livre )Diferente do que eu havia lido sobre cartão em CaraÃva....em todos os lugares que fomos aceitavam cartão....dizem para tbém levar dinheiro, devido oscilação da internet, porém ficamos lá por 1 semana e em nenhum momento precisamos usar dinheiro....até mesmo nas barraquinhas da beira do rio aceitava-se cartão...o que é ótimo
