This Open Sesame restaurant in Long Beach is highly rated, but we found it to be only average. Our food did not come out as ordered, and the staff was extremely busy, so resolution took some time. We did not receive the personal attention we thought we should given the issue. To sum up, the food and service was only average. They were really busy, so our experience may represent the fall of their success.

Whilst in Seal Beach watching the parade we came across this Greek restaurant. We sat indoors and were served a lovely meal. Even though they were extremely busy with the parade outside, they were still friendly and very helpful to us ordering as it was our first visit there. I had a delicious Mom's Favourite Chicken pita for only $6.50. I really would recommend Athens West and if we are lucky enough to visit Seal Beach again we will definitely eat here. Great value, friendliness and good food.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Long Beach. The food is delicious, great options. The Chicken is so good. Great atmosphere and staff. Check their weekly specials, I believe Tuesday night the do 50% off wine bottles. Make sure to check out the all you can eat family style dinner, you gotta have 4 people in your group who all order it, it's $25/person and it's a variety sample of a few food, but a ample amount and you can keep it coming.
