Unlike their neighbor, Kenosha, downtown Racine continues to struggle with innovative and quality downtown dining. Several places have recently opened, and they are trying. However, it is still stagnant and not captivating enough to keep you from going to Kenosha where the options are plentiful and easier to compare to a larger metro area. At the reco of another Racine restaurant employee, I went to Asiana. And I can’t wait to go back. Korean and Asian flavors abound. Just be prepared to be overwhelmed, albeit briefly, with the menu. Their starters section alone has over 25 items. And so many to choose from. We ended up getting 6 different items, 2 for dine-in and the other four take away. We still ended up taking away the apps we had at the bar!!! We never even delved into the mains and can’t wait to try. Instead of listing everything, just go and order and try. We enjoyed all six and had 3 more meals out of them!!!Don’t expect anything special at the bar. Just get the basics. They are not known for their beverages as my bartender couldn’t even make a gin and tonic!!! The setting is nothing special but you don’t need it with food flavors like they have!!!

Prices compare to other restaurants of this type. All the food was done exactly to order and was very tasty. Our chef, Eduardo, was very polite with a quiet sense of humor that was refreshing. He answered all the questions we asked in a professional manner. He put on a nice show. The management played a silent movie with subtitles in the background. There were many families with kids there. All the staff paid close attention to details refilling water and making sure the trip was pleasurable. The menu had plenty to offer. Great night!

Noodles and Company used to be one of our favorite places to eat and take out but recently, the quality and service has gone downhill. The other day, we ordered two glutenfree dishes and our experience was extremely disappointing. First, the person who waited on us had no knowledge of celiac and what was glutenfree; for example, he mentioned eggs and peanuts were in the bowls we ordered. When we brought home our order, we found the dishes contaminated with elbow noodles (gluten-ous, and not just one lone elbow noodle but nearly 20 of them!!). This is unacceptable. We found the curry sauce on one dish to be watered down. A very disappointing experience.
