Great view on a sunny day of the water overlooking Wallis Lake and the Bridge between Forster & Tuncurry. We ordered the Lunch Special and the food arrived in a compartmented box with 4 tastes of Asia with condiments and was what you would expect for a taste of Asia.After paying the bill I realised that we had been overcharged and spoke to a waitperson at the counter who checked and said no, the amount was correct. I disagreed and said we had had the tastes of Asia special from the board, she called the Manager who said that the special did not apply during school holidays and that we would have been told this by the waitperson and that we had ordered the box meal. This was not the case as I understand it. I feel we were misled and believe that the board should be taken down in the school holidays or altered to clearly state that this did not apply during the school holidays. It should not be up to the the wait person to remember to tell patrons this.Hi David,We want to sincerely apologise for your negative experience in our restaurant. We will definitely review this concern together with our team and make every effort it does not happen again. Joined 2 friends for lunch today at the Sushi Bay. The food was freshly prepared and cooked. Huge variety to choose from. The staff were attentive and friendly. Very comfortable seating and temperature especially on a warm day. Lovely lunchtime dining experience.
