Exceptionally attractive outside and in, a charming, small restaurant which also can provide bed and breakfast. Lovely, civilised, atmosphere and smartly and appropriately decorated. All food is truly locally sourced, whether it be rack of lamb from the butcher up the road or sea bass from Chesil Bay. Our meals were beautifully presented and delicious, service and value for money excellent, and we would return to try other things from the menu.Great to hear you enjoyed your meal with us, we are fortunate with our suppliers and indeed the bass is caught by someone from our village who drops it off on his way back home, we hope to see you again soon!

The best cafe in Yeovil. Food is out of this world, plenty of homemade goodies (the cakes are amazing) really fresh and the best cafe coffee I've found. Huge choice of menu. The staff are really friendly, very efficient - nothing is too much trouble. You may need to book a table at lunchtime as it really is very popular.

We went to The Bull saturday night as there was some entertainment that we wanted to see. I asked for a table in the vicinity of the area they were playing. We ordered food thinking we were going to have a great night. Our main meals arrived. I mentioned to the girl serving, "I presume we won't be getting our starter then?" "ah yes" she said, "It's just coming now." I didn't fancy having Nachos with fish & chips, so told her not to bring them. Not a great start. After finishing our meal, I then heard the band playing in another area of the pub. Which was a shame as there was plenty of empty space where we were. We then went to where they were playing. They were in direct competition with the TV showing the football with the volume on loud. After trying to listen to a couple of songs, we decided to leave as it was not really an enjoyable experience.I presume what was the Landlady must have walked by us at least a dozen times with no word of an apology or to even ask us if our food was ok.Hence, to say, We will not be venturing back.
