Our guide took us here for lunch. It wasn't on my radar. It was a simple, delicious meal with the BEST fried chicken I've ever had, which caught me off guard being that it's a rural misty mountain community. I'm from Southern California with lots of ethnic restaurants and this chicken was superior on every level. And it's a beautiful, photo friendly restaurant, too.Asuka is trying to promote tourism so we were able to get a free English guide who gave us a tour of Asuka on bicycles. One of our favorite days of our Japan trip!
