Visiting Sheffield, i made a beeline to probably the best takeaway Sushi restaurant in the country.Freshly made to order for a good price by friendly helpfull staff.Only minor issue is that they are currently going cash-free, so must remember to take the plastic!Our team are very happy we can get customers travelling to Sheffield and enjoying our takeaway service. We have two more locations available as an option now if you do end up back in Sheffield. Our newest one is currently nearby city centre. Came here as a couple for a quiet Thursday evening. Had a really good starter of the crispy battered seafood to share and a Duck stir fry and Prawn Thai curry for mains. The wine was very good and reasonable value, although they didn't have the bottle we'd requested and would have been good to know that in advance of ordering. The food was excellent and really very well flavoured. We had a great meal and very enjoyable evening, would very much recommend the restaurant.

My wife and I have been many times to Brocco as the food and ambience along with service has been second to none for evening meals, lunch and an afternoon drink.So it was my wifes birthday and 6 of us attended on a Saturday night expecting the usual standard and found it was "small plate" night where the waitress and menu advised you order a couple of dishes each along with sides where the result would be served very much like a Tapas, eating each dish as it came out. The first of these dishes arrived without sides but we were told once again that we would eat each dish as it came out so I ate the beautiful beefs cheek on it's own. 5 Minutes later my Cod arrived with the rest of our guests small plate yet again without sides and we began to look a little bemused but after a 2 minute wait had to eat to prevent it going cold without sides. 5 minutes after finishing this second plate our triple cooked chips arrived and so ate a plate of chips!!!. As we finished our plate of chips and the atmosphere on the table was some what diminished our greens arrived and we confusingly all ate a plate of greens. Les Dawson once admitting to playing all the right notes on his piano but not necessarily in the right order......this was the food version,. What happened to the very successful 3 course meal that the Brocco did better than anybody else, this experience is a backward step and spoilt what should have been a celebration but ended up with my wife and I feeling extremely embarrassed as we had always sung the praises of the Brocco. It is now the following morning and still feel that disappointed that I have to write something negative about what was our favourite restaurant.So sorry your experience was not up to standard of your previous visits and of course we want to be back on top of your favourites list. We do pride ourselves on delicious, seasonal food in lovely surroundings. Though I was not in the restaurant on Saturday night it does sound like you received your dishes in a order than was not as we would normally serve. Of course your sides should have been with your small plates. We usually have a front of house team member at the pass helping to co ordinate but we were a person down - at very late notice and so this was not in place , which probably caused this issue.
