This is at least our second visit to this wonderful little cafe. Luckily on each occasion we have managed to get a table although you can get food to take away and eat on the beach. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food first class. My crab burger was brilliant and the chips first rate. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Top notch example of a typically quirky British cafe.

Coffee good but you have to wait for it. Service is slow, slow, slow.we sat outside and after ordering, had to go back inside and ask if we had been forgotten. Maybe staff that day were not on the ball. I would return but only if I had extra time on my hands.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm not sure why there was a wait on the day you visited. On a Thursday we get often serve 150 plus drinks in 2 hours (market day) which does take time!. However as it was a Friday I don't have a reason for more than 7 or 8 minutes at most. I assure you this is not our normal. Regards, Rob

Looked for a recommended seafood restaurant with an interesting menu . We booked as we knew it was very popular . We shared between us a huge seafood platter plus additional dishes. Excellent food and service within an Edwardian hotel . We enjoyed it so much we booked in for Saturday evening for non seafood dishes and again the food was excellentThank you for your comments.
