This restaurant is in the countryside and sometimes difficult to find. For this reason, my friend and I were late for dinner and the owner threatened us that he would not serve us dinner if we came later than 9 pm. We arrived at 9 pm (because the place was difficult to find) and him and his family were very rude to us. The food was good but we did not enjoy it because every drink or food we asked, the owners were annoyed. We felt as if they were doing us a favour to serve us. They finally kicked us out at a certain time. Food ok, but overall aweful atmosphere.I will not return to be treated like that.

We went to this authentic Portugese restaurant in the village of Medernach in Luxembourg for our noon meal. I had never eaten Portugese cuIsine and was pleased to see the local population filling the restaurant. I always figure that is a good testament to the quality of food. We did have a bit of a problem reading the menu written in Portugese and French, but we were able to figure it out with the help of one waitress who spoke a bit of English. The portions were very generous, eye appealing, and most importantly very flavorful and delicious. The prices were middle of the road, I would say, but value for the money was very good. Three of us ate a large noon lunch with a caraf of wine for $55 Euros. It was a great place to eat!
