The wife and I did a lil "last minute weekend getaway" and drove up to this area without hotel reservations. A few obstacles landed us in Bethel, CT. two doors up from the Stoney Hill Diner. What luck!? Walked in, and was immediately greeted with smiling faces and "welcome home" hospitality. Waitress was very nice and proficient. Food was "to die for"!! No charades, this place has that "throwback" vibe to the good ol days. From the decor to the service and everything in between, this staff could teach establishments anywhere in the country "how it's done".

Running errands with my cousin for a surprise party and we're both starting to get hangry. Spot Greek food in the strip mall where we were shopping. Good? Good. NOT GOOD AWESOME. I can't say enough nice things about Maura and Tiffany. (Cousin swears it was Stephanie. I think Tiffany.) They were so sweet, professional, friendly and funny and really went above and beyond even though the place was crazy busy. And the food was just beyond reproach. The falafel and the gyro were definitely among the best I've ever had. Thanks for feeding us and making us leave as life long fans. We'll be back.
