Simple and good food in a remote chalet. Swiss specialties with delicious local wines are served. I ate a mixed salad which had variety and taste. Great for a short hike in summer or winter.

The restaurant was very good with excellent service. We recommend trying the 'canard a la press', if only to watch the preparation of the duck. Watching the staff work the duck press was worth the price and is a dish that you will probably not prepare at home! They main courses change according to the season and the other dishes we tried we very well prepared.The wine list contains some excellent local wines from the Valais, so don't waste your time on those pricey Bordeauxs.

Menu looked good but pricey - foie gras was fine but main dishes very disappointing- lamb filet over cooked, Zurich geschnetzeltes was unrecognisable - rosti more like mash, meat sauce no cream and mushrooms ... And expensive! Not to be recommended ! Dear Suzanne P thank you very much for your visit and for sharing your impressions. I do apologies that we were not able to satisfy your expectations, we will discuss this issues with our culinary team, as for the Züricher Geschnetzeltes I am assure you that this was an exception, as its one of our most polular dish.
