MHR Burgers is quite off the beaten track in a residential estate called Bandar (Malay for Town) Sunggala. As you go up from the main road beside the General Hospital go up half a kilometer and take the first main road on the left. MHR Burgers is 400 meters on the right. Look for the Restaurant sign (in my photographs attached.)One of the nicest burgers I have ever eaten and better than some of the more famous brand names. The Restaurant doesn't look anything special until you see the menu and realise there is a lot of choice. The burger when it came was cooked fresh, excellent quality beef, cheese fresh tomato and lettuce, the whole lot well presented. Have a look at the attached photograph and tell me your not hungry??There is not a great drink selection, which revolved around ice cream soda (not a fan) so I settled for an iced chocolate drink which was good. That said the food was excellent and I guess this Restaurant has not been rated before because it takes some finding. The Manager tells me it has been in operation for seven years and is open 6pm to midnight, seven days a week. I was invited to write in the comments book. Certainly worth a visit if you are a burger fan like me. Hope you like this review and the photographs. This one is highly recommended and worth the trip. You will need your own transport. We have eaten at this Restaurant at times in the past and not been very impressed but now they have improved significantly. My wife and I had dinner here and it is a nice location overlooking the seafront. The Restaurant seating is on the first floor so wheelchair access is not possible, although there is some seating on the ground floor. I chose a value meal dinner which was a 1/4 chicken with rice and coleslaw, including a soft drink and the meal came to about 16 Malaysian ringgit (about 4$ US). My wife had the chicken sandwich on wheatgerm and stated it was one of the nicest she had tasted. Service was fast and efficient and the quality was good all-roundThe surprise came with the take away system. You buy a Kenny Rogers take out meal tray (please see photographs attached) which is 10 Malaysian ringgit and you can take it in for a choice of meal take away, For example, 1/4 chicken, mashed potato and coleslaw is about 10 Malaysian ringgit. So cheap, really good value and you can use your dinned tray as many times as you like. Good initiative if you fancy a roast dinner by the beach.
