It is located 16 miles (26 km) from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina and lies within the area of the Blue Ridge Escarpment, an area of transition between mountains and piedmont, and contains numerous waterfalls. It was founded by German settlers in the late 1800s even though the area had long been settled by Scotch-Irish farmers. The population was 3,801 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Oconee County. The current mayor of Walhalla is Danny Edwards.

Soup, salads, sandwiches - all sounds straight-forward and easy. This place is amazing. It feels like there is a 5star chef in the kitchen. The sandwiches are huge and DO NOT ALTER them. order right off menu so you can experience all the flavors the chef intends for the sandwich. (Full disclosure, I substitute turkey instead of portobello on that sandwich and it is so good!)And I am not a salad eater, but not only do I crave their Noreaster salad, but I rave about it. (And I'm a fat southern guy).

We stumbled upon this place after pizza at Old Towne. They have 48 different flavors of ice cream! They have sundaes, malts, shakes and more. The only drawback was the cost. One 1-scoop, one 2-scoop and one sundae ran us almost $14.Thank you for your review. Glad you liked our wide choices. Sorry you found it a bit pricey. This is a premium Ice Cream and our prices are lower than the other place down the street by a good bit. A 1 scoop is $ 2.85 and we give generous scoops. Most folks compliment us on our low prices and generous quantities. Thank you for visiting. Hope to see you again soon.
