This restaurant is located a bit outsied of the city center along the way to the A2 to Hannover. Going up the hill on the right side. Ample of parking opportunities are available and even though the street is busy you do not notice once inside.The decoration is slight so not overdone in any way but still the balkan theme comes through. Croation kitchen is not none for refinement it normally comes in huge portions of meat with huge amounts of sided and this restaurant is no exception. It is tasty and rural but well done food which will make you leave full and satisfied but surely it is far away from any gault millau kitchen. So if you are hungry for exactly this, this is the place to go, the staff is freindly the wine is good, so nothing for a special evening but for some meatlovers just to right place.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the brother-in-law of a local hotel-restaurant owner. He knows a lot about restaurants. His recommendation was spot on! We had been at this restaurant a number of times when the previous owners ran it. The new owners have COMPLETELY rebuilt the inside. It is very open but the huge leather chairs which are very comfortable gives a warm atmosphere.The restaurant could be described as an Italian steak house. In comparison with another steakhouse in Herford, (which just recently closed permanently) The steaks are equally as good, if not better, and a salad and side dish come with the steaks. In many steak houses outside of the steak, everything is extra. The bill adds up quickly. The menu isn't extensive, but everything can be recommended because it's all fresh, nothing out of the freezer. The service is excellent and very friendly. The chef comes out of the kitchen at intervals to ask if the meal has met our expectations. We returned the very next week and took out daughter with us. We have definitely found a permanent address for steaks and Italian food in Herford.There is always parking available in front.
