I am used to good Chinese food. This was tasteless to say the least. As there were not many people there, it may have been an off night.

We are well-located in the city center where u can reach easily by tram or car. More importantly, we offer u the traditional Chinese gourmet and comfortable ambience to enjoy.

Having eaten typical local fare for a few days, we wanted something different and so chose Hu Po. It's certainly not your English style Chinese. We went for the meal for 2 where you chose 2 starters and 3 mains. The starters were cold (they were meant to be.). The duck I chose was quite bony but tasted good. The mains were served separately to share. My wife loved it all. I guess I'm just a sweet and sour man!

The food is basically what you pay for yet better than most similar places- asian buffets. The price of the Lion d'or is in the lower part of the range of those places', and what you get is an occidentalized Asian place (no chopsitcks, sober decoration etc.).
