Having Sunday dinner at Ocean City Chinese Restaurant is one of our favorites. It is usually immediate seating, friendly staff and since it is before 3 the luncheon menu is available. Service is prompt and the food including soup and egg roll varied and usually very good. Sometimes the vegetable dishes are not as flavorful as the more complex dishes.

The place doesn't look like much, the service wasn't the best I have ever had, but the buffet was yummy. It's an average arrangement of Chinese.

Marshalltown doesn't have that many places that I really enjoy. Chef King is an exception. Their food has always been fresh and service fast and friendly. The weekday lunch vs Sunday lunch buffet differs slightly. I actually prefer the weekday buffet due do one of their shrimp dishes. On Sunday they have crab legs (very hit or miss and small) and a good salt and pepper shrimp. The chicken and broccoli, pork dish, beef dish, mushrooms, seafood medley and green beans are all very good too! When my mother visits, it's her place of choice also.
