Versoix is a municipality in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland, which sits on the north-west side of Lac Léman north-east of the city of Geneva. It is the last town of the Canton of Geneva on the road northeast towards Lausanne, before the Canton of Vaud starts. It is a train stop on the Swiss Federal Railways line running between Coppet and Geneva. On the Vaud side, the next village is called Mies.

This place is good fun. Visited in a party of three for Sunday brunch without a reservation: no problem, seated quickly. Friendly, prompt service. Coffee refills. Decent food with plenty to choose from. Good portion sizes. Relatively keen pricing by Swiss standards - definitely recommend a visit if you're in Versoix.

We popped out of the hotel to this bistro restaurant as it looked good. Service was good and the food top quality. I was a little disappointed in the lack of choices on the menu. Flavours were good and it was all well cooked. I had the confit of barbeque ribs which was very fatty and no accompaniments to help cut through the fattiness.Nice venue and location.Cher Monsieur,ce commentaire ne nous est pas destiné, car nous ne faisons pas de cuisine.Il est adressé au Bolero:-)Au plaisir.G.Bichet

We were in Switzerland for only two days and promised ourselves a lunch by Lake Geneva. Arriving in Versoix, we spotted the restaurant and the menu seemed appealing. We ordered chanterelle mushrooms with tagliatelle, a caesar salad and fillet of pork in a mustard sauce. Two dishes came with side salads. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming. Price wise we expected to pay quite a bit as Switzerland is not cheap. With drinks the meal worked out about £25 a head. Sadly we did not have room for dessert. The surrounding area was peaceful. We sat outside. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely return.
