Railway stations in Italy are famous (notorious) to be awful, and very often the bars are as bad as the station.This place is definitely different.*** Position ***Perfect you you have a long layover for your train, just in front of the station*** Staff ***Polite and helpful*** Food ***Pretty good, not too expensive (and things at railwaystations are always overpriced) Definitely suggested in case you need to spend time at that railway station!

We came as a group for a demonstration of how the famous Tartufo is made and had a generous portion. We came back the next day and had another - it was so good.Bar Dante was established in 1940 - so must be the oldest in Pizzo .Lovely situation on the Piazza della Repubblica.Well recommended.
