It is tricky to find a restaurant open in this lovely village out of season, so we were very pleased to find this place open on a Monday evening in early June. It is near the car park at the lower end of village, next to the stream. And we got a warm welcome too, both from the helpful owner, and the open fire! Plenty of choice on the three course menu, 20 Euros with wine and water, and all very tasty. We had a nice chat after the meal with the owner about the Spanish 'digestivos' which he was keen to explain and offer me a sample, and we left full and happy.

I ordered an Argentinian mixed grill and was disappointed by the quality of the meat. The vacio was very chewy and the chinchulines could have passed for chorizo. The corn soup was very tasty and the chimichurri was good.

Very good steakhouse to recover after a day of mountain or ski. The do not accept reservations so it is recomended to go early if you do not want to wait on the bar.
