its a little out of the way, six or eight blocks from the center of Heredia but worth the walk if you are a meat eater. your food is cooked on a big grill at the front of the restaurant and i chose a combo plate which was served up piping hot off the grill and was good value. like many restaurants it doesnt serve alcohol but has a good selection of fruit drinks and sodas.

This place can't be beat for price and service. The portions are generous. The owner Mario runs the place and waits the table. You can bring your own bottle of wine with no corking fee. There is a small liquor next to the restaurant so it easy to buy a beverage of your liking. And importantly you don't need a bank loan to eat there. Enjoy!
