Hosteria Moderna San Bonifacio

We came here as it was closest to our hotel and we wanted something simple and cheap. It's not in the best of locations close to a busy road but we weren't looking for romance that evening. This restaurant is a bar and restaurant and was popular with locals 20/30 somethings in the evening for drinks. The food was really delicious. I had pasta with pears and pine nut and it was sublime.

This is a lovely little cafe near an entrance to the walled town and castle. The staff are very nice and the products are delicious and creative. Home made croquettes, gluten free brownie, muffin with fruity centre and seeds on top, hot chocolate and craft beer were great. It’s a quiet place to relax.
