Had lunch here today. The only good thing about this place was the cheerful very efficient waitress. My husband ha sole meunière with potatoes dauphinois. The potatoes were stone cold.The fish was stale & old. The plate was cold. I had the Moules Roquefort , 1/2 of which were closed & therefore Inedible. Our worst meal in France.

Both entrecotes were 80% pure fat and gristle. At â¬15 each I wasnt expecting perfection but this was just inedible - if you can't offer edible steaks for â¬15 then why bother having them on the menu. Le Mix in the marina offers much better. Over 20 meals out in Le Lavandou. This was the only bad one of the lot.

The bar is situated right at the heart of the main tourist thoroughfare and is well placed for that mid morning coffee or mid afternoon tipple! We called regularly after our walk along the seafront and had adraught Belgian beer called Afligem which I thoroughly recommend. Friendly staff and whilst prices are not the cheapest the place buzzes right through until midnight.
