This owner operated restaurant is definitely a must visit! The service is good, a well very balanced menu with signature Portuguese dishes and a very reasonably priced wine list. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere with ample safe parking. It is our favourite Sunday lunch venue.

A few blocks just out of the city down a gravel road you will chance upon the Why Not. Indoor and outdoor seating with great seafood and meat dishes All the meat comes from South Africa and is first class. This South African owned restaurant is managed by a charming Zimbabwean lady. You will be pleased to find this spot in the chaos of Tete.
